Terms and Conditions

By placing an order, you confirm that the details provided in your enquiry form are correct.

All quotes given are valid for one week from when the quote was provided. Madz sugar shop reserves the right to amend the quote as and when required.

Acceptance of the quote is confirmation that all details are correct.

Orders will be confirmed once a non-refundable 50% deposit via bank transfer has been received and confirmed by email. The remaining amount is payable via bank transfer one week prior to pick up or delivery.

Delivery is subject to an additional fee and is subject to approval. Delivery must be negotiated prior to confirmation of the order.

All cakes are made to order and decorated by hand. Therefore, there will be subtle differences between orders and no cake or colour can be perfectly replicated and may vary from online depictions.

Madz sugar shop reserves the right to take and use photographs of your cake(s) and desserts, before, during and after set up, to use for marketing, advertising, and promotional purposes, without compensation to you.

All orders are subject to the availability of ingredients and materials. If a substitution is required, madz sugar shop reserves the right to substitute these items without prior consultation.

Cake decorations such as fruits and flowers are subject to seasonal availability.

Madz Sugar Shop  takes no responsibility for any damage that may occur to any of our products after they have been handed over. It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure correct handling, storage and removal of any inedible decorations or cake supports. Please see FAQs for food handling and transportation suggestions.

Please note that there will be a 20% loading for any order made with less than one week’s notice.

Please review your invoice, the date, the dessert flavours, fillings, size, design theme/ style, and any attachments including inspiration photos. These details note the final decision made between Madz Sugar Shop and customer for the order.

If, for any reason, you do not agree to any of the details noted in your invoice prior to payment, you are welcome to decline the order by sending an email to info@madzsugarshop.com.au.Orders cancelled after payment has been made are subject to the terms below. Your payment serves as a signature & agreement to these terms.

In the event that you need to cancel, postpone or reschedule your order and Madz Sugar Shop is notified less than 2 weeks in advance, we will honor your deposit and/ or full payment made as a dessert credit up to 1 year.

Postpone: to put off an event with date unknown.

Reschedule: to schedule again with a new time and date set.

Rescheduling is subject to Madz Sugar Shops calendar and availability.You are welcome to use your dessert credit for any order placed within 1 year of invoice sent.

A 50% non-refundable retainer is due within 48 hours of the invoice being sent in order to secure the order date.Orders will not be confirmed or added to Madz Sugar Shop calendar until the retainer is paid.Your order will be cancelled and your date may become unavailable in the event your retainer is not received within 48hours.

Final payment for your order is due seven (7) days before pickup or delivery.

NO REFUNDS: As all our orders are custom made and personalised to suit your needs. In no event shall Madz Sugar Shop be required to refund any payment charged for any order. As noted above, in the event you cancel the order, postpone, or reschedule, a credit will be added to your account to be used on future invoices within 1 year. 

DISCLAIMER: Madz Sugar Shops products may contain and come in contact with milk, wheat, nuts, soy & other allergens. If any of your guests have allergies, it is your responsibility to notify them of the risk & any possible allergens.

Dependent upon the design, your order may contain non-toxic items such as highlight dust (typically used for drip & splatter). These products are used for enhancing decoration only and are not edible.Please email info@madzsugarshop.com.au if you would like to decline this particular decoration.

Madz Sugar Shop will notify you of care instructions prior to or during pickup or delivery. You are responsible for providing a level surface & suitable environment for your desserts. We strongly advice against placing your desserts outdoors or in direct sunlight. Madz Sugar Shop is not responsible for any damages to your order due to outside elements.

Your desserts will always be packaged appropriately and secure for travel. It is best to place your desserts on a flat surface such as the floor of the car or trunk. Your desserts should never be placed on the seat of the car.

Madz Sugar Shop is not liable for any damage that may arise related to your desserts once your order has been picked up or delivered. 

It is your responsibility to thoroughly review all details of your order prior to payment. If Madz Sugar Shop is not notified of any changes to be made prior to submitting final payment, we will assume your agreement and move forward with fulfilling the order according to the invoice details.

The serving size noted on the order form is based on personal research. Madz Sugar Shop is not responsible for cake serving shortage.

Silk florals, support dowels, & any other inedible decor products are to be removed from your order prior to consumption. You acknowledge that these are not food products and may be harmful if consumed.
